This is the original 1995 Creation pressing of Slowdive's final album "Pygmalion" in the LP format - catalog number CRELP 168.  While not commercially successful at the time of its release and the reason for Alan McGee regrettably dropping the band from his label, the album has become a cult classic in the intervening 18 years.  It's viewed by many as the band's masterpiece.  Again, this is the original single black vinyl LP version on Creation - NOT the recent 2xLP Japanese bootleg or the colored vinyl Music on Vinyl reissue.  It is housed in the original gray matte textured sleeve and comes with the original inner art sleeve.  This particular copy is in fantastic condition (see detailed description below).  This album does not come up for sale often in this condition!

The actual item that you will be bidding on is pictured.  The photos are not stock photos, nor were they "borrowed" from another auction or website.  The album is in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition.  The outer sleeve is near mint, it is very clean, bearing only a very light discoloration of some sort on the front cover, which is visible in the photo - it's about 2 inches northeast of "slowdive" on the cover.  Not sure if it's a smudge or inherent to the cardboard sleeve.  The inner sleeve is perfect (no marks whatsoever), with the exception of seam splits on the left and bottom sleeves which were there upon purchase.  The record itself shows no marks or scratches.  Please take note of the afforementioned flaws (i.e., the inner sleeve seam splits and front cover discoloration) before bidding, as I will not accept returns based on those specific aspects.
