Description

Selling-up my large record collection.
Nice later copy of this fine Small Faces album. Incomplete cover, nice vinyl. Record says "Made in Ireland" on labels.
Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look.
Cover - as you may know, the round covers are one die-cut piece of card, making five circles with joins about 1.5" long, between the parts. These joins tear easily - especially if one is foolish enough to keep the record in the cover. I have 3/5 of the cover - perhaps the most important bits! The front and the part seen in my second photo, are still joined together, and the inside of the tin picture is a separate piece. The round pieces are all in nice condition - there's a bend / crease towards the right hand edge, of the front / title one. Very nice original colour, and a classic cover.
Record - is very good. This has had my usual careful visual inspection - on side one, the only fault I could find, is some marks at the very end of the side. Side two - all I could find wrong, is a very small flat impact on the last track. Worth mentioning, that you should not expect to hear clicks or background noise during the music, but the spoken-word parts from Professor Stanely Unwin may have some background or other noises.
An original 60s UK copy of this would be expensive - this is a small fraction of that price.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.10 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.60.
I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS STUFF. Dispatch will usually be "next day". Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid. HOWEVER, if you win several items, and pay for them all in the same payment, their system may well spot this and do combined postage. If this happens, pay what you're told, and I will refund the excess postage paid to me - if you buy three LPs, I would be getting three lots of £3.50, but I can send all in one parcel, so I only need one lot of £3.50, usually. The exception is, if the items you buy weigh more than 2 kilos altogether, I need to make two parcels - there is a special cheap postage rate in UK, for parcels under 2 kilos.  Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!) Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Israel Italy Japan Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands New Zealand Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey Norway Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden, United States, Antigua & Barbuda Aruba Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Bolivia Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Cayman Islands Dominica Ecuador Egypt French Guiana Gibraltar Grenada Guadeloupe Guernsey Iceland Jersey Jordan Liechtenstein Macau Maldives Martinique Monaco Montserrat Nicaragua Oman Pakistan Paraguay Peru Reunion Saint Kitts & Nevis Saint Lucia Sri Lanka and Turks & Caicos Islands Applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country, wherever import duty is appropriate. If you don't want to pay the customs charges, do not bid.
I don't send to China (because I prefer not to), and I also don't send to Japan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, as importation of vinyl records is not permitted in their customs regulations.
