This is a great find... an original 1950's HMV mailed box of 78rpm discs... the discs inside however are a mixture of labels and mostly re-housed in the recipients company sleeves.

The Rare Record Price Guide 2014 (RRPG'14) only lists three of these discs, with a combined value of £92.oo, however most of the other 78s listed are also worth around £10-20 each when sold individually... so, all in all, a great 1950's collection of discs.

This isn't our specialist area, and we are selling these as we purchased them, we would love to pull the Clarence Henry out and sell it separately, but, we think it best for the collector to keep these all together, and the parcel when shipped is more likely to be protected due to the quantity of discs.

The Clarence Henry record, if this was the 7" with gold print would cost you a few hundred pounds, the silver print isn't that far behind... the 78 is virtually impossible to find (due to it's fragile nature, less 78rpm playing machines, and the risks in shipping).

We will take every effort to ensure this box arrives in great condition, it will be packed within a new box, in bubble wrap... the two extra 78s (Ella and Louis discs) will be placed on the top and bottom of the box, so if any breakages occur, it will most likely be these (hence including them).
