Description
All right everyone - thanks to financial issues I have to part with one of my most prized possessions. This is the very first record released by Chicago's own Smashing Pumpkins. This was released on Limited Potential Records and only 1500 were pressed. This is evern more unique as it is signed by all 4 original members of the band. How did I get it? Well I attended University of Illinois and played drums in band there called "Pork Pie" who were lucky enough to score an opening slot at Mabel's for the Pumpkins right when they released this. Having seen me at several previous gigs (including the infamous Medusa's gig where they played for 2 very interested patrons) and spoken to me they agreed to sign it (including James running around to find a marker to sign with, so his name is in Green). Parting with this is hard but necessary given my current situation. I did play it a few times. However, it has always been kept in its sleeve and bagged in plastic. The B-Side is a tune called "Not Worth Asking". I remember D'Arcy describing it to me as a sounding kind of Musak like, but she had grown to sort of like it. It is authentic and a fantastic collectible for the pumpkins fan. Trust my feedback and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks so much!
On Feb-12-07 at 10:26:03 PST, seller added the following information:Jus so you know - The sigantures are as follows: Billy Corgan - upside down in lower left corner, Darcy - Right below the lower Left Corner of the picture, James - In Green below Darcy's, and Jimmy Chamberlin signed along the right hand edge - pretty big actually.
