This is an original Caroline Records pressing of "Siamese Dream" by The Smashing Pumpkins manufactured in 1993. This album is pressed on 2x 12" slabs of beautiful peach/orange marble vinyl and presented in a gatefold sleeve. It has the catalog reference 'CAROL 1740 1'.
"Siamese Dream" catapulted The Smashing Pumpkins in to to mainstream success, cementing them as a significant group in alternative music. The album received widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike, with its diverse musical influences and lyrical material considered unique compared to other releases during the alternative rock and grunge movements of its time. It has since sold over six million copies worldwide and has been certified 4x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
This is a great opportunity to own an incredibly valuable and increasingly rare original pressing of an album that is not only considered "one of the finest alternative rock albums", but widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of the 1990s.

The album is still sealed along three sides; I received the album as a gift in ~2008 and we wanted to admire the discs. Neither record have ever been played however, nor has the gatefold sleeve been removed.
I honestly can't tell whether this is a peach (2nd pressing) or orange (3rd pressing). There are notoriously huge colour variations in each pressing.
Although this album has been extremely well cared-for, it is not without some minor flaws. The top of the spine has been slightly dented, there is some wear to the sleeve's openings, and one of the inner paper sleeves has a tear. I have done my best to photograph these small issues.
