Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream - Vinyl Record
When I listen to records I expect a mint sound, then listen for anything that catches my attention. below is what you should expect to hear. Note I use a blue ortofon stylus, so experienced might vary based on your stylus .
The cover: VG+ Cover has shelf wear. As noticed in the pictures there are corner dings.
The records: I grade extremely conservative. This album is between very good + and VG, so I just went with VG due to the fact it has some scuff marks and scratches. See images and zoom in. See image for scratches. The scratches are not deep and mostly produce a low ticking some in some parts. I discuss that below.
The sound: Light pops on soma for a few seconds. Light pops on geek USA for a few seconds. A couple medium pops during the intro to mayonnaise and more later on in the track. A few soft and light ticks during silver F, but not enough to distract me from the music.
Overall outside of the medium pops discussed above, this is probably what some new records or listed VG+ (and sadly some unhonest listed NM) sounds like. You’ll notice the scratches make a light tick in some parts and very few medium pops.
Comes with original paper sleeves, plus I’m including two Mofi sleeves to protect the record.
