Smetana String Quartet Vegh UK Decca LXT
The Vegh Quartet perform Smetana’s "Quartet No. 1" and Kodaly’s "Quartet No. 2 An English mono pressing on the Decca Label (LXT 2876 stampers 1B/2B), the labels are orange with gold lettering and this is a "pancake" pressing. The record is of a greyish appearance (rubbing) and there is a tiny scratch on track two, side one that clicks occasionally. Otherwise it is of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with low level surface noise. The cover has some minor wear. Payment by credit card, or Paypal is preferred –direct debit available to Australian buyers. Postage by Standard Airmail (7 to 10 days) to the U.S. or Asia is $8.50 - slightly more to Europe and elsewhere. Add $2.50 only for each additional record purchased from my auction.
