Very reluctantly selling a very rare, scarce misspress of Shakespeare's Sister by The Smiths from my own private collection.


This is one of a very small number of inner sleeves which were ‘mispressed’ with colours coming out all wrong: the discography side has a pink background instead of yellow, the "How Soon Is Now" single came out green instead of purple, while the Pat Phoenix image on the reverse came out green instead of blue.


Stored in dark environment, smoke free home and always stored in plastic cover within rigid box. Vinyl played very little. Any time it has been played was on a Michel Turntable with Linn K9 cartridge. In excellent condition I have tried to post informative pictures, however if you would like to see a specific area of the vinyl or cover please ask & I will try to provide same. No vinyl is perfect but I would say this is in excellent condition. Maybe a couple of hairlines in the vinyl but it plays perfectly. Couple of marks on the cover which I have tried to show in the pictures so please look at these.


No vinyl is in totally mint condition and as such I would never list mine in this way. Saying that I have always looked after my vinyl and would say this is in excellent condition with the odd mark here and there.

I have seen these go for over £300 so this is actually a low starting price. I can only find one available online just now and that is at £249.99 + shipping.
