Rhino Records is proud to present ‘Complete’, the complete The Smiths catalogue across eight albums lovingly reworked by Johnny Marr and Rhino. Packaged together for the first time across 3 formats – CD, 180g LP & Deluxe CD/LP/7inch - the ultimate The Smiths remasters collections.
Each album has been taken back to original tape sources and remastered by master-engineer Frank Arkwright, assisted by Johnny Marr at the world famous Metropolis Studios in London.
The Limited Edition Smiths' Complete Super Deluxe Box Set features remastered versions of the Smiths' eight albums on CD in mini-LP replica packaging in gatefold card wallets, and on 180g audiophile vinyl, plus all 25 of the group's singles on individual 7" discs. The set also includes prints, a poster and The Complete Picture DVD which contains all the band's videos.
The contents of the Limited Edition Super Deluxe version of The Smiths Complete Box Set are housed in a heavyweight trunk style box.
The Smiths is a group that was formed in 1982 based on the partnership of Morrissey and guitarist Johnny Marr with bassist Andy Rourke and drummer Mike Joyce. They have been dubbed by critics as 'the most important alternative rock band to emerge form the British independent music scene of the 1980s'.
