Description
Rare original US 1964 Tamla 2 x LP release by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles called "Greatest Hits From the Beginning" - TM 254 (mono). Contains all significant tracks to that date such as Shop Around, Way Over there etc.
Condition is VG throughout with some rubs and splits to cover and marks to vinyl. Vinyl shiny however and plays well.
However key value and rarity of this item is that in the 1980s and 1990s signatures were obtained from al but one of the living Miracles at the time. Some are now deceased so will never be able to obtain again.
The signatures are from original pre-1966 line up:
Smokey Robinson (vocals and writing)
Claudette Robinson (vocals and wife at time)
Pete Moore (vocals)
Ronnie White (vocals)
Marv Tarplin (guitar and writing)
No signature for Bobby Rogers.
Signatures are certified and look correct.

On 10-Oct-19 at 17:10:40 BST, seller added the following information:Please note. I have had a few questions about the signatures. I have no provenance other than what I was told when I bought the album about 10 years ago. The album does come with a certificate from an autograph dealer but I know little more than they were collected in the 1980s and 1990s. They look genuine against other items I have had when I collected Motown memorabilia. I would ask that you please look at the photos and decide whether you feel they are genuine before bidding.

I did not purchase from the dealer who is stated to have certified the autographs. In addition I have done a check and cannot see that the dealer who provided the certificate is still trading or any further details. I am therefore unable to offer any guarantee around the signatures other than my own opinion. Please only bid if you are content with the description and the fact that I cannot verify the guarantee.
