Description

Smokey Buck Rogers and The Tennessee Playboys Metal acetate 12" 78 I Let My Wife Support Me

This song has an unissued false start on one side because Smokey Rogers forgot the words of the song. The take on the other side he did remember all the lyrics.

On the sleeve and center of record it has written 447-2

The playing grooves of this acetate start 1/3 into the record on both sides and in VG+++ condition. There are hardly any visible scratches because it was hardly ever played, but it has old cloudy storage wear and don't have that shine, so it needs some buffering to bring it's luster back.
It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse unplayed for over 70 years.
