10" 78 RPM 3-RECORD SET & PICTURE SLEEVE ENVELOPE SLEEVE


This is the first commercially released soundtrack album, as originally released on January 19, 1938

​The soundtrack was first issued as a set (Victor J-8) of three shellac 78 RPM 10" discs, thus conforming a collection of singles. It contained eight of the eleven songs heard in the picture, as "Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum", "Some Day My Prince Will Come (Reprise)" and "One Song (Reprise)" were not included. These recordings were taken directly from the film's track and thus include bits of dialogue and sound effects.

Unfortunately, someone used some packing tape on the left side of the sleeve to hold it together.
