Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell is the fourth studio album by the American punk rock band Social Distortion, released on February 11, 1992, through Epic Records. Following the breakthrough success of their 1990 self-titled album, this release solidified the band's signature "cowpunk" sound-a distinct fusion of aggressive punk rock, rockabilly, and classic country anguish inspired by icons like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. It became one of the most commercially successful and best-selling albums of their career, earning a gold certification in the United States.
