Socrates- On The Wings/ Peters International Cosmos#PILPS9002 c.1973

One of the early Socrates records, (I believe the 2nd), highly original arrangements, English
vocals, great double guitar werk, tight rhythmic patterns with a modal bluesy feel, it reminds
me of Wishbone Ash meets Black Sabbath with a handful of Amon Duul 2 and you have
a general idea of what traits exhibited here on this RARE offering from a premiere
Greek rock band. Only Aphrodite's Child achieved more acclaim worldwide because
of their  more commercial output. The album is really NM (still in plastic, but opened)
Cover is definitely mintish as well, the shrink still intact, ringwear barely evident from the near
40 storage years. Come on my friends in Greece, make a bid to get this one home!
