Description
I am selling my Soft Cell/Marc Almond/Marc and the Mambas collection.
It consists of the following items:
1) Raoul and the Ruined: "Bite Black + Blues" original "Gutter Hearts" LP (1983, I think). Track list: The plague, In my room, Fun City, Gloomy Sunday, Switchblade operator, Muleskinner Blues, Blue Prelude, Sleaze. Cover: excellent/very good. Record: mint.
2) Marc and the Mambas "Sleaze ... take it ... shake it ..." original fan club EP (1983, I think). Track list: Fun City, Sleaze, Taking it and shaking it. Cover: very good. Record: mint.
3) Marc and the Mambas "Live at the Duke of York's Theatre in London" LP. Track list: Gloomy sunday, Catch a falling star, Switchblade operator, Muleskinner, A blue prelude, Nobody knows you when you're down and out, Angels, If you go away. Cover: mint. Record: mint.
4) Marc Almond and the Soft Cell Italian songbook (142 pages) with the single "In your bed" by Marc Almond. Both mint/excellent state.
5) Down in the Subway Special Remix 12"single (1983). Cover: excellent. Record: excellent.
6) Soft Cell/Marc Almond "Say Hello Wave Goodbye" limited edition 12" Advance promo DJ copy. Cover: excellent. Record: mint.
7) Soft Cell "The Art of Falling Apart" cassette (no photo)
8) Marc Almond "12 Years of Tears" live at the Royal Albert Hall cassette (no photo)
9) 35 newspaper and music magazine cut-outs from the 1980s, including a German 1981 "Bravo" teenage magazine with a super sleazy Soft Cell poster!
Condition stated according to the classification of the "Record Collector". I have always been very careful with my records. Apart from the songbook and the cassettes, I bought all of the records in little record shops in London, many of them in the 1980s. "Sleaze" has now been with me for 24 years, but now it's time to part.
The cost of packaging and postage for everything is 12.50 pounds.
As this is a private auction, the items cannot be returned. But you wouldn't want to do this anyway.
