SLEEVE: is a thick card sleeve which has the insert (with Number) laminated onto it, and it appears that the back has another inner selotaped on (See pics) with just a bit of aging/discoloration due to age and a small name written in red on the back

GRADING SYSTEM

Records in my auctions are graded visually according to the well known UK 'Record Collector' system, but please note that some records were pressed on a better quality vinyl than others that may visually appear the same. There may also be defects in the pressings which are invisible (however this doesn't happen often).

GRADINGS ARE SUBJECT TO INDIVIDUAL INTERPRETATION SO THERE ARE BOUND TO BE OCCASIONS WHEN MY GRADING WILL DIFFER FROM YOURS. THEREFORE PLEASE ACCEPT MY ASSESMENT AS MERELY A GUIDE. WHILST I AM HAPPY TO OFFER YOU A REFUND IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS AMOUNT WILL NOT INCLUDE ANY POSTAGE COSTS AND WILL JUST BE THE FINAL SALE PRICE ACHIEVED. PLEASE HOWEVER BE ASSURED OF MY GOOD INTENTIONS

(M) Mint - The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheets, booklets or posters are in perfect condition.
(NM) Near Mint - The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that it's ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
(EX) Excellent - The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Under Bright Light you may see fine lines on the record, caused by rubbing on the paper sleeve. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
(VG) Very Good - The record has obvously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the ocassional light scratch. Also this grading may be used where the record has suffered perhaps one more visible scratch, but is otherwise in EX or better condition. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
(G) Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
(F) Fair - The record is still just about playable, but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. The cover and contents may be torn, stained or defaced.
(P) Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

I try to keep postage costs low but please bear in mind that there is the cost of packing, labour & petrol to the post office. I always obtain proof of posting. Any valuable items will only be sent 'signed for' or 'special delivery' depending on the value. This is not negotiable and is a small price to pay for the assurance that your item will be insured in the unlikely event of it going missing. I do offer postage discounts for multiple items, so please await my invoice. Also please bear in mind that the postage is advertised on the listing for a reason, please don't try and haggle this after a sale as you know what it is before you bid. In the unlikely event that I have made a significant mis-calculation with weight etc, I will always automatically recify this by way of a reimbursement for the difference. For International Bidders: I always try to fill in customs declarations in a method where you will not be subject to hefty duty/taxes, but please bear in mind this is totally out of my control and is at the discretion of your countries customs department.

Payment is expected within 7 days of the auction end, for more expensive items I would at least expect an email to let me know you are a genuine bidder who does in fact intend on paying for the goods. If payment isn’t received within 7 days an unpaid item dispute will be opened (so I can try and reclaim my advertising expenses) and a second chance offer will be sent to the next highest bidder.
