Vintage 78 rpm  of Sol Hoopii & His Novelty Quartet
Side A:  Opelu, Hula Fox Trot Side B:  Duke Kahanmoku, Hawaiian Fox Trot
Record is in excellent condition and has been play tested
* Sol's picture not included
Sol Hoopii is considered to be one of the greatest of all Hawaiian steel guitar players.  He was the first Hawaiian to incorporate jazz improvisation into his playing.  His style was very influential to other steel guitarists of the 1920's - 30's.  This recording was made on acoustic steel guitar with his Novelty Quartet.  He later on switched to the electric guitar.  The early recordings represent the pinnacle of his performing skill.
