Rezension:

Sie bleibt ungeschlagen, diese erste, 1966 erschienene Zusammenfassung der frühen Hitsingles des Predigers und Soul-Großmeisters Solomon Burke: Das eröffnende "Got To Get You Off My Mind" dauert keine zwei Minuten und muß doch als Sternstunde bezeichnet werden; was folgt – ob "Cry To Me", "Just Out Of Reach", "Tonight's The Night" oder "Down In The Valley" ist praktisch vom selben Kaliber. (1966/2011)
