Description

Here is a great 1967 release on the London label (OSA-1309/OSA-1509/OSA-1508/OSA-1604). Georg Solti conducts the Vienna Philharmonic in a complete cycle of Wagner's Ring. Vocal performers include Kirsten Flagstad, George London, Birgit Nilsson, Regine Crespin, Wolfgang Windgassen, Hans Hotter, Claire Watson and Christa Ludwig. 19-record box set includes John Culshaw's 1967 book "Ring Resounding", chronicling the seven-year effort behind these records, the first full recording of the complete cycle. Also includes original factory wrap hype placard.

Condition - The collection's outer box wrap has been removed. The outer box shows light wear and grades VG+. The book looks great and grades NM- with just a small tear on the dust jacket. The records for the four seperate operas remain new & sealed in their respective sub-boxes. All of thos boxes appear Mint under the plastic.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards.

I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
