Description

Somethin’ Else: Cannonball Adderly, Miles Davis, Art Blakey. Mono. DG both sides. RVG machine stamps both sides. 47 West 63rd Blue Note label both sides. Conservatively graded at VG/VG. Vinyl is visually lovely except for slightly feelable scratch on side 1 which does not affect play. This is a DG Mono heavy platter and considering its more than 50 years old, it’s in amazing shape.


Ultrasonically cleaned August 26, 2019. Play tested. No skips. Mild background noise (occasionally more), especially in quiet section, as you would expect from a well maintained, played 50 year old Blue Note LP. Not overpowering, and lovely, rich DG mono sound. This was my first Somethin’ Else purchase. I would not trade this LP for three Classic Records in NM condition. Rich sound.

This is one of my very favorite jazz albums of all time. A must have for any serious jazz collector. Adderley, Miles, and Blakey were in there prime when the original owner of this LP was spinning their sounds off this vinyl. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
