Hello & welcome to our eBay store. Son Lux’s instant-classic Lanterns is an album that’s been highly revered and imitated in just two short years. What many people don’t know is that several songs from Lanterns had multiple iterations. Ryan Lott is a prolific perfectionist, refining his myriad ideas into the classic songs they have become, and leaving the original “demos” often sounding distinctly different from the final version. Lanterns: Wicks compiles four of these never-before-heard “demos” from Lanterns into a unique piece of art. These are songs in an early stage of development, which would eventually evolve into the songs we know and love. This is a window into Son Lux’s creative process. Limited to just 89 copies (this is #77) on specialty lathe-cut records, each copy is hand-made and features a custom design utilizing three separate spindle holes.
