Description

Available this time is a sealed copy of Trace by Son Volt on vinyl. This limited edition item is released as part of RSD 2025 Black Friday edition. Trace, originally released in 1995, is Son Volt's debut album, following Jay Farrar's departure from alt-country pioneers Uncle Tupelo. Critically acclaimed and commercially successful, it featured the hit single “Drown.” This 30th anniversary 2LP edition marks the album’s first U.S. pressing since 2015 and includes a second disc of bonus tracks making their vinyl debut. Ranked fourth on Paste’s list of the “50 Best Alt-Country Albums of All Time,” Trace remains a landmark release in the genre. This has been pressed on purple coloured vinyl. Limited to 3000 copies. An excellent addition to any Son Volt collection.

Grading is by visual inspection only. I never rate anything as mint, that is just the way I look at things as there might be a slight imperfection I cannot see. Near mint is the highest I grade. I do my best to package everything as best I can. Unfortunately small things may happen in shipping like minor bumps to the sleeve or cracks in the case. That is not covered by any insurance through the shipping company. If on the rare time the item arrives broken, that is covered. Please send pictures if that has happened.

If you are in the US, donald has started to charge new handling fees that has been included in the shipping charge. As of Sept.08.25, it looks like media (vinyl records, cds, dvds, etc) are finally exempt of tariffs!!

To my fellow Canadians...if Canada post is on strike, I already have a backup plan. I do use a courier company that has been really good. The downside is that they cannot deliver to P.O. boxes as only Canada Post can do that. Also, they are not very good with apartment buildings as they usually just leave the packages at the front door area where anyone can take them. They also do not deliver to the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut or most of Newfoundland. If you live in any of these areas, contact me and I will try to find an alternative shipping company for you

The shipping company I use to ship is a bit of a drive and are closed on weekends. That means I will be shipping usually twice a week. Most weeks it will be on Tuesday and Friday.

All shipping prices include packaging, tracking and insurance.
