Description
Sonatas for two violins by Leclair, Telemann and Ysaye.
Leonid Kogan and Elisabeth Gilels.
Columbia 33CX 1887. Semi-circle (1st) label. Made in Great Britain "Recording first published 1964" on label.
Matrix XLX 1040 21 R M6 229287 / XLX 1041 21 P M6 229288.
The record has been PLAY graded as follows:-
Side 1 - Audibly excellent with some individual pops probably from dust which is probably capable of improvement with professional cleaning. Visually Excellent Plus with no marking.
Side 2 - Audibly Very Good with some pops and background crackle but no distortion of sound. Visually Good with heavy cleaning fluid / plastic sleeve staining in the vinyl caused by lengthy storage. There are no visible scratches or physical marks on either side.
The record is priced to reflect these flaws.
The flip-over seam laminated jacket is graded as Very Good as the seams have been taped which has caused yellowing as shown in the photos. The seams and corners are NOT broken just heavily discoloured by the tape.
The record will be posted in a strong record mailer.
