Song Poem LP on Ronnie Paragon Sung by May Redding & Be

Released by Ronnie (L-232) and distributed by Paragon Productions circa 1968. This is a truly unique piece and a must have piece for collectors of Song Poem records. Instead of being housed in a jacket, this record is housed in an old record mailer that is addressed to one of the song poem authors (Margaret Morse). While the address label has been partially removed, it is pretty apparent that the package was in fact addressed to Margaret Morse, who authored "Dear, Sacred Heart of Jesus" which is band 3 on side 1. The postage is dated 9/13/68 with the return address being Crown Music Company of New York City.
The songs on the album are sun by May Redding & Ben Tate. The music is in the pop/country & western style.

While I don't often run across song poem records often (and I'm always excited when I do), I have never seen a piece like this before. While song poem records are unique period, having this packaging is truly fantastic and essential for the collector. I am fairly confident that this probably did not even come in a jacket to begin with.
Jacket/Package is in good condition. The outer wrapping on the sides and bottom of the package are worn, but everything is still held together.
Vinyl is VG+ with a bot of gloss still to the record and general superficial surface scratches and a few scuffs that do not really harm play. Record was 100% play tested and sounded great with light background noise between tracks and during softer songs/passages. A solid player and an interesting listen.

While our feedback (which is mostly vinyl sales) shows we are very honest and fair graders, record grading is very subjective. If you are ultra super conservative, to save all parties trouble, we kindly ask you please move along because if you really try you can always find something wrong with a record. We sell solid records and try not to over grade but opinions do differ and we've found our opinion mainly only differs with those that are absolute fanatics about condition who probably should not be buying used vinyl records online in the first place due to the fact that the record is site unseen.
