Description

LP vinyl record released by the Armagh Pipers Club (which featured three members of the later-famous Valley family). Released on the Outlet label in 1974. Catalogue number SOLP 1028. Record is entitled "Song of the Chanter". The sleeve on this rare record is worn on all edges, ringed and slightly faded on the front. And there are a few handwritten lines next to the track listing on the rear which appear to be musical in nature. Record plays well despite the sleeve scuffs and the odd mark. An important record in terms of the development of Irish traditional music in Ulster.
