Description
Many thanks for your interest in my records! I've collected records for over 30 years and as such sometimes take stock and realise how many duplicates I have accrued, and how many records I no longer listen to. I grade using the RRPG Record Collector grading system, though feel that I grade down if anything, please check my feedback for proof of this! I have sold many records (some incredibly rare ones in the 4 figures) over the years, so please rest assured that my gradings have been satisfactory so far! Though, If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before leaving negative feedback. I haven't had negative feedback so far, and don't intend to start now if I can at all help it!
I'll combine records for the same price for up to 3 disks (double LPs count as 2!), and at as reduced a rate as I can beyond that! International bidders please ask, as I'll send them as cheaply as possible for you,but they must be sent tracked and insured.
Here we have a pristine scarce 1st pressing LP from 1994 BEAT THE RETREAT Songs by Richard Thompson, performed by artists such as R.E.M., David Byrne, Loudon Wainright III, Dinosaur Jr., Bonnie Raitt, Bob Mould, Graham Parker, Martin Carthy, The Five Blind Boys of Alabama etc.
This is still in it's opened shrink, as it was when I got hold of it! But I honestly don't belive this has been played more than once before my test play. There are absoutelynomarks of any description on the vinyl,and the the labels are pristine, but for a single incredibly faint 1cm spindle trail from the central spindle hole on Side 1,and this is only visible very faintly when angled into strong direct light. The textured sleeve, as you'd imagine for a sleeve still in it's shrink is absolutely pristine as well- very rare for this textured light coloured sleeve! This is a top copy,which you won't be able to upgrade from- and as reguar buyers willalready know, I don't say that lightly!
