Description:  I have the pleasure of offering for sale on E-Bay the rare Bridget St John’s first issue record album “Songs for The Gentle Man” on the very scarce and rare Dandelion label 1st issue.  This record comes from a family archive collection, which I am now putting up for sale, giving someone else the opportunity to purchase and own this rare record.

Record Sleeve:

The record sleeve is in excellent condition shows very little signs of wear, been kept in protective plastic sleeve.  This first issue gate-fold record sleeve has a cushion affect textured appearance with lyrics printed on inside open sleeve. The sleeve is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd– (See photos for information). 

Label:

The labels are in excellent mint condition with no writing or rubbing ,  the record shows very little spindle wear looks hardly played. (see photos for information)

Record:

Record condition report I have played the record twice both sides and it has excellent audio quality lies flat on the turntable, with excellent audio and sound quality. I would grade this rare Dandelion label record near mint, comes with first issue matrix numbers A1-B1.  This is a rare record to find in this excellent condition.  (See photos for more information)

I am not a professional record dealer just selling family owned records, and have tried to give a full and honest account of the records condition.  My grading of this record is near mint condition with excellent audio and sound quality, and excellent quality record sleeve and labels.

The Record Grading

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...

NEAR MINT:  A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
