Songs From Walt Disney's ALICE IN WONDERLAND Disneyland Records LP 1963 VGC. Condition is vintage “Used". Cardboard sleeve is in nice condition for age. Some dents and paper loss to corners as shown. Record album is in pristine condition with no scratches that I can see. It doesn’t look like it was ever played. Inner paper sleeve in great condition as well. See all photos!

With the release of “Alice in Wonderland” in 1951, one of the many Walt Disney dreams had been fulfilled, and that was to make animated features of the three fantasies of the three heroines he has always considered at the top of the worlds imaginative literature. “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, “Cinderella”, and Louis Carol’s “Alice in Wonderland”. Once again through the miracle of animation, as performed by the Walt Disney studio, we are able to enter the wonderful world of fantasy. A world, that has been in the imagination of people since it was first told in 1866, comes to life before our our eyes.
As in all Walt Disney pictures, music plays in important part in “Alice in Wonderland”. The spirit of the picture is maintained and emphasized in the nature of the songs written to its mood. Each song is written especially for a certain scene, and they range from beautiful ballads such as “In a world of my own” and “All in the Golden Afternoon” to the humorous “The Walrus and the Carpenter”. Some of the foremost music writers of the day were commissioned to write the songs for “Alice in Wonderland”.
