Description
For sale is Songs Of Leonard Cohen, originally released in 1967 by Columbia Records and re-issued in 1970. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-G/1-J, signifying that an early stamper was used to make this pressing. This is a hallmark of superb sound quality. I bought this new and immediately put this album into a MFSL archival inner sleeve after cleaning it thoroughly. This protects the integrity of any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with this release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The lyric insert is in Excellent condition with some bent corners from storage. The cover is graded as VG+ because of ring wear, a creased corner, edge rubs and a small bubble appearing on the front. The spine has a hint of color loss from minute stress cracks. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent with some sleeve marks. I'm play grading it as VG because of surface noise and an occasional pop, most noticeable in the quiet passages. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
