Rare LIMITED, NUMBERED EDITION High-End AUDIOPHILE Mastering and Pressing of this highly sought Gem.

ANALOGUE PRODUCTIONS began in 1991 and this was their 2nd ever release (with titles up to APC 006 released the same year).
Unknowledgeable sellers often state "1972" as pressing year - which is patently impossible and inaccurate,
but stems from "© 1972 Vanguard Classics" printed on back cover (referring to the Vanguard licensing).

This copy has the VERY LOW: 0018 Pressing Sequence number.
I have seen numbers up to 3997 - I believe it was an edition of 5000.

Absolutely delightful disc to listen to from start to finish. This collection of folk songs from southern France is recomposed (rather than simply orchestrated) and transcended to the highest level of vocal art music. The pure, almost girl-next-door sound of Davrath has never been bettered by other efforts by many, much bigger names.

INCREDIBLE SOUND QUALITY on this Super-early numbered pressing!
Long Out of Print - You would have a very hard time indeed finding a cleaner, better sounding copy.
