From Vee-Jay Records (VJ 1092), this is  SONGS, PICTURES

AND STORIES OF THE FABULOUS BEATLES performed

by  JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE  and  RINGO with an assist by

GEORGE MARTIN. Three-quarter gatefold is sturdy and attractive

showing minor wear at corners and along spine (both inside and out); also

shows very light stains (see photos) and tiny pin-pricks upper left corner

probably indicating promo. The LP appears horrible with numerous spindle

marks and countless hairline marks on the playing surfaces. However, it

play-grades an astounding VG+ to EX+ and better (mostly in the EX+ range)

with no startling pops or clicks and certainly no skips. In addition, the record

plays with little discernable extraneous noise except between cuts and in soft

passages. With no distortion (even in the dynamic areas and even with the

volume cranked up to dancing levels) and a smooth continuity, this copy stands

as one of the best listening examples of this classic we've ever seen. It is a piece

you'll come back to again and again. Put up your MINT version and keep this one

on the turntable. You'll dance the night away! Wow. Our highest, most enthusiastic

recommendation.

Wherever possible we house our vinyl in Mobile Fidelity Sound

Lab inner sleeves for the ultimate in protection; we use 6-mil

outer sleeves or polyester both being the finest protection

available for LP jackets.

These we offer FREE to all our customers!

When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you

are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home,

a second yacht or a four hundred million dollar golden

parachute.  Instead, you’re helping a little girl get

dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey,

a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay a mortgage,

or a student pay for college. Our customers are our

shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make happy.

Thank you for supporting small businesses.

Thoughts for today:

That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history.

As our eyes grow accustomed to sight they arm themselves against wonder.
