Description
Tom Lehrer is a talented pianist who sings his own sarcastic, witty, bright, and spirited songs, which were shocking and provocative by 1953 standards.
While Lehrer’s songs are definitely in poor taste, he uses no profanity in his lyrics. This is a fun record for grownups.
This 10-inch, 33 1/3 RPM record plays the same as a 12-inch record except you have to hand queue the tone arm to the lead in.

Record VG + This "Trans Radio" Mono album is a First Pressing of Lehrer’s First Album and the sound quality of this recording is poor when compared to records produced by major record labels. The record is visually clean and shiny. There are no skips or pops, but there are three very faint hairline scratches on side one. They are not audible.
Both sides have mild crackles throughout, but Lehrer’s voice comes through loud and clear throughout the entire album.
Album Cover was fair. It is now VG. There were splits in the end, top and bottom seams. I have carefully repaired these splits with a color matched paper.
The black and white portions of the front and rear covers show mild discoloration.

The name “W. B. Nelson, May 1953” is neatly hand written in the upper left corner on the back cover.
There was a drummer named W.B. Nelson who was active but not popular the in time frame of 1953. This album might have been his.
Inner Sleeve - New. There was no inner protective sleeve with this album so I constructed one.
Grading: Using the Goldmine criteria, grading is done visually, and by listening to the album using headphones

At the bottom of the back cover it reads:

The Alternate title reads:
