This is a record album consisting of individual record sleeves bound together in book form. There are 4 records in the album, one song on each side of the record. Note that one of the photos above includes a track list.
What a treasure! The 1947 Girls Chorus and Boys Glee Club of the Kamehameha School perform traditional Hawaiian music in native Hawaiian language. Truly the sound of the Islands. I played several selections, and the records sound great. If you love Old Hawaii, you'll want this album.
The album "book" has some edge wear and age discoloration, but it's still all intact, all the inner sleeves are firmly attached. Overall, in nice condition for 66 years old! The vinyl records themselves are in very good condition using the Goldmine Standard for record grading. These are the old heavy vinyl 78 RPM records. They show some scuffs, and a couple of the records have light scratches. But I played them, and the sound was very good.
