Description
This is a RARE and hard to find copy of Leonard Cohen's debut 1967 album titled "Songs of Leonard Cohen" on Columbia Records with 2-Eye labels. This STEREO 12" black vinyl record spins at 33 RPM and includes some of Cohen's most famous songs, such as "Suzanne" and "I'm Gonna Try to Change the World.".
This LP has some occasional minor ticks, pops, and blips during playback most prominently on side 2 track 1 - "Marianne" - but both sides of the LP play through without hanging up. Aside from that 1 song the grading might be VG+ but overall it's knocked down to a very good (VG) record grading. The LP cover sleeve and inner paper sleeve are in the range of VG+ to VG grading. On a positive note the separate lyric sheet remains included with this vintage LP.

I played both sides of this LP completely through on my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. It plays fairly well and is an interesting piece of music history. There is some minor intermittent background crackle and as noted already there are couple of ticks or pops here and there but it plays through and there’s nothing significant on the whole to completely overwhelm enjoyment of the songs.
