Description

Pete Seeger had been a fervent supporter of the Republican forces in the Spanish Civil War. In 1943, with Tom Glazer and Bess and Baldwin Hawes, he recorded an album of 78s called Songs of the Lincoln Battalion on Moe Asch's Stinson label.

Songs of the Lincoln Battalion is a 1944 Asch album by three former members of the Almanac Singers: Baldwin "Butch" Hawes, Bess Lomax Hawes and Pete Seeger, along with Tom Glazer - Album, Records and Record Sleeves are all in excellent condition. We are original owners.

This included such songs as :
