Description

Selling some of my son's clutter and a few gems, courtesy of his grandmother, that were in with his record player: This one is a collectible, it's in very good shape considering its from 1947. It doesn't say 78RPM, I am just assuming due the thickness, and year, that's the deal. Records are in good shape, and there's a message from Santa inside, on the first record sleeve that says: Dear Sherry: I talked with your Uncle Les and Auntie Pat, your Uncle Johnny, and Aunt Polly, and they told me that you like records. I hope you will like these, Love Santa

This was the first piece of memorabilia I ever got. Vivid artwork and three 78's with the original cast on it makes this one of the most collected albums.

Upon being complimented by Walt Disney on his new Uncle Remus album, Johnny Mercer replied, "Thanks, Mr. D, I hope it'll become a collector's item!" If he only knew...
