Description

Extremely rare Over(kill) yr Idols 7" by Sonic Youth. Tracks are: I Killed Christgau with My Big F%ckin Dick/Making the Nature Scene. This had two covers, one blue & white & the other w/ some colors. This is the rarer of the two w/ colors. Reportedly limited to 1246 copies. Seldomly turns up anywhere. First release on the Forced Exposure label, this was a giveaway to early subscribers of the magazine. Both songs recorded live October 30th, 1983 @ The Loft in Berlin, Germany. I bought this several years ago from Todd Brashear (ex-Slint) when he opened his first cult video store in Louisville.

Vinyl is NM-, w/ a couple of faint paper scuffs, looks unplayed. Cover is VG++, w/ only a slight bit of binwear..

It's painful but I'm parting with a lot of my Sonic Youth collection. Check my other auctions, I'm selling some other SY records, most very rare, I'll gladly combine shipping for multiple bids. I'm happy to answer any questions and/or send additional photos. thanks for looking
