Description

Although the covers says Checker LP 1437, the record label says "CHESS".  This identifies as a later Chess-label reissue.During the 60s and 0s Chess began reissuing earlier Checker albums under its own label CHESS and often keeping the same catalog number (LP1437) but switching the label design. Cover retains original Checker LP 1437 artwork.
The "Sheldon" stamp is visible in the dead wax (since the original metal parts were reused).  This copy was probably pressed later using the original metalwork from Checker; hence the "Sheldon" still is there.
