Description
Mega Rare LP of Sonny Boy Williamson - Down and Out Blues (Checker 1437 - mono) Original 1950s black label edition - NOT a curent re-issue! Williamson's 1950s recordings is a real blues classic that no serious collector can be without.
The LP is in VG-(minus)/ Poor condition with lots and lots of marks that will definitely make noise - not for the audiophile in any way - you will definitely hear a lot of noise. The cover is in VG-(minus)/Poor condition with general age/shelfwear, tape (old and new) on the top and bottom seam, bends in the cover (left side), writing on the back liner and staining (mostly on the back). What can I say? It is in terrible shape, but is an exremely rare blues artifact.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials. One LP to Canada would be $20.00
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
Paypal accepted or write for preferred payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
