Here's a great release on the Blue Note label (1576). Sonny Clark Sonny's Crib Blue Note 1576 Donald Byrd trumpet, Curtis Fuller trombone, John Coltrane tenor sax, Sonny Clark piano, Paul Chambers bass, Art Taylor drums. LP jazz. Original press with 47 W. 63rd address on label, no R, RVG and Ear in dead wax.
Condition - The jacket shows moderate wear, including age staining and some splitting at top. The jacket grades at VG. The record shows moderate wear, including several marks and scuffs, but it has a warp from heat damage that impacts the first two minutes of play. The warp causes skipping at the beginning of side A that stops about 1 minute in, but then there are audible thumps for another minute or so. Side two plays better, with thumping for about the first two minutes, including one or two skips on my system. The record grades at Poor due to warp, but most of the rest seems to play at about VG.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new, proffesional grade materials. Shipping can be combined on multiple title orders.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards - Mint (M), Near Mint (NM), Near Mint Minus (NM-), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Very Good Minus (VG-), Good (G). I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records, discs or tapes. I reserve that designation for sealed items only. The highest grade I give opened, unsealed items is NM. Grading here is strictly by sight unless specifically noted in the condition section.
