Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Sonny Clark “Trio” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1579.  The playing surface is in excellent condition with a beautiful luster; however, a needle drop produces thirteen intermittent tics on the first track of Side 1.  The laminated West 63rd St. cover is bright and clean throughout; ¼” bump at the top left corner; very slight wear at the top right corner; ¾” bump at the lower right corner; ¾” split on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones.  $1000.00.
