Sonny Criss Tal Farlow Up Up And Away Audiophile Japan Victor Press of Prestige 7530. Hard to date this as it has the Kabuchi Frame rear so may be 70s. Lovely session from the great saxophonist. The Penguin guide suggest that the two lps I have listed are his best pair (probably why I bought them!), and he does a bit of a sonny Rollins in taking relatively pop-py standards of the day and really ripping in to them so they serve as springboards to great soloing.Near Mint record and sleeve plays near mint.
