Sonny Marshall, Mary Clark, Earl Douglas Song Poem EP My Happy Valley + 3
Sonny Marshall - My Happy Valley, Mary Clark - Stop, Earl Douglas - Smile and Pretend, and Earl Douglas - Dreams (Air Records EP 1578). Obscure EP from probably the late 60s or early 70s (Air existed from the 50s through the 70s) on the Song Poem label out of Miami. Marshall was a prolific Song Poem recording artist whose work is also found under the names Sammy Marshall as well as a a series of variants of the name, such as Sonny Marcell, and Sonny Maracel. Other pseudonyms included Johnny Cargill, Ben Tate, Chuck Jones, Marc Stewart, Mark Taylor, Terry Bruce, and there were undoubtedly a whole lot more of them. Little known about Mary Clark, although this song by her was also on Air EP 1553. Douglas' name hasn't shown up in song poem archives, but then who knows what his real name was. Somewhat a variety of styles but we'll call it pop. Record is in VG+ condition.
