Description
- Very close to mint vinyl on this Sonny Rollins 1965 RCA Victor LP “The Standard” (RCA Victor LSP 3355, stereo).
- This LP has a great lineup of musicians described on the cover as “Sonny Rollins & Co”: Sonny Rollins (tenor sax), Herbie Hancock (piano), Bob Cranshaw (bass), Mickey Roker or Stu Martin (drums), Jim Hall (guitar), Dave Izenson (bass arco) and Teddy Smith (bass pizzicato). The last two appear on one track “Trav’lin’ Light”.
- The tracklist is: Autumn Nocturne/Night And Day/Love Letters/My One And Only Love/Three Little Words/Trav’lin’ Light/I’ll Be Seeing You/My Ship/It Could Happen To You/Long Ago (And Far Away).
- The glossy LP looks and plays very close to mint with just a few very light sleeve scuffs. I’m unable to see even one spindle mark on the labels. The cover has no splits, tears or cutouts. There is some light ring-wear and a hard to see name written top front. Included is the near mint original RCA Victor inner sleeve.
