Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 1581, Sonny Rollins A Night At The Village Vanguard, a deep groove, 47 west 63rd St. label, early mono issue of this classic live recording with RVG and the ear (p) mark stamped in the dead wax. The record is in strong VG+ condition (VG+(+)) showing light marks on both sides and playing quietly throughout. The laminated cover, without an address, has a small tear and some light laminate fraying on the open end but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this classic mono Blue Note recording.
