Description
We are thrilled and honoured to be offering for sale a number of items from the late Stan Tracey's own personal collection on behalf of his son Clark Tracey. This includes many extremely rare albums, some purchased by Stan during his time in New York, plus test pressings and other gems collected over his lifetime as a musician and composer.
A rare UK 1st press copy of Sonny Rollins and Teddy Edwards - At Music Inn/At Falcon's Lair released in 1960 on the yellow & black MGM Microgroove label.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl has come up shiny with clean labels and spindle holes but with visible scuffs and marks to botn sides. We have graded VG+.
The vinyl plays through well with good sound quality overall, a little low noise in parts, but no jumping or sticking.
The flipback laminate sleeve is very close to EX, certainly a strong VG+. Minor creasing & corner rubbing but no laminate lift. Discolouration of rear but no splits, writing, stains or tears.
Original heavyweight Emitex inner sleeve present & still doing a great job.
The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
