This is a LP by Sonny Rollins, self titled, on Blue Note BLP 1542.  Scarce early Jazz LP.  PLEASE NOTE:  This is only being listed as a FILLER copy for someone that just wants a copy to fill a hole in their collection until a better copy can be found.  Jacket POOR (HEAVY overall wear, FULL split along top seam, 4" split along the spine starting in the upper left corner, 6" split on bottom seam, Heavy overall wear to the rest of the spine and the bottom seam, corner waer, ring wear, stains, creasing, bending, overall browning, etc.).  Record visually grades POOR (HEAVY overall wear, not much gloss left, COMPLETELY covered with longer and shorter scuffs and marks on both sides along with many long scratches, many of of the longer and shorter marks and scratches CAN BE FELT).  I've spot played several areas of the record and there is a lot of surface noise along with lots of clicks and pops.  The first track on side 2 has a couple of long circular areas of needle/groove wear that cause some heavy static and some skips.  I have NOT played the record all the way through so there is a good chance there are some other skips/jumps/sticks throughout the record given the visual condition.  Side 1 label has the 1601 Lexington Ave. address on the label while Side 2 has the 47 West 63rd label.  Labels have lots of overall wear.  AGAIN, please be aware that this should only be considered a FILLER copy until you could find a better one.  Listen to part of the record above (clips from actual record with no filters).  The above clip features the first part of each track on each side starting with the first track on Side 2 that has the most notable skips.
