Description
Hi, up for sale today is a used copy of Plus 4 by Sonny Rollins, released in 1956 on Prestige Records. This is a Mono pressing, and is an incredibly rare cover variant, used on a small amount of 1956 pressings. The catalog number of this is PRLP 7038, and grades as follows:
Jacket- G+
-Jacket shows a 2" split on top opening edge, as well as 4" split along center bottom edge
-Jacket has a general warp to it, with all four corners curving upwards
-Jacket also has a strong musty odor to it
-Cover shows some dark wear to right opening edge
-Front and back covers show normal wear and tear from age and use
-There is also some light spine wear, with light splitting towards bottom
Sleeve- N/A
-No inside sleeve here to speak of
Vinyl- VG
-Vinyl shows a significant amount of marks and wear on both sides
-There are a decent amount of light noises, along with some crackles and pops that can heard throughout, especially on side two
-Did not find any spots that skipped, or scratches that drastically affected play
-On a personal level, and as a jazz enthusiast, there was nothing here that took away from the overall listen for myself
