Description
This is a copy of the LP Saxophone Colossus by Sonny Rollins, mono UK re-issue from 1966 on Stateside SL 10164.
The stamped matrices are SRX 3335 - 1 and SRX 3336 - 1
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes that affect play. There are a few faint paper / handling lines that are inaudible. The labels are clean with no stains, writing, stickers or scuffs. There is one very faint spindle line on each side.The front-laminated flipback cover is in Excellent condition. There are no stickers, tape, ring wear, shelf wear, tears, scuffs or splits. There is a small name and date written on the back (in the top right-hand corner). The spine is perfectly readable and the cardboard feels crisp and solid. There is a printed date code 6602 indicating February 1966.
The generic, paper inner sleeve has a few faint handling creases and some general ageing / browning.
