This listing is for the Sonny Rollins - Saxophone Colossus - 2-LP 45 RPM test pressing from Analogue Productions (AJAZ-7079, mastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman. This test pressing comes in plain white sleeves with the catalog number stamped in the corner AJAZ-7079-45 A/B and AJAZ-7079-45 C/D and the pressing date (December 6, 2002). The LPs themselves have plain labels from RTI with the same information. The sleeves show some wear, particularly on the 2nd LP (sides C/D). Using goldmine standards, the first LP is very good to excellent. The second LP is very good with a few lightly visible marks. They might be removed if you have a nice cleaner. We played both LPs once on our Rega turntable and they sound excellent! Please visit our store for a large selection of LPs and CDs in a range of audiophile formats.
